Tradition with flair. The “Bobbeschänkelche” which represents something very special in Wiesbaden, due to its long tradition in hospitality, good food and its unchanged state for more than 150 years. Part from the regional specialities we also serve you freshly prepared home-made dishes. Along with these, you will be served suitable wines, a cool draught beer or a typical Hessian cider. Take a seat and let yourself be spoiled. We look forward to meeting you.
Great service, very good quality, delicious
Food was mega
We have been satisfied guests of the Bobbeschänkelche for a long time and have ordered the goose for home at the weekend. From collection (they helped bring the pots and trays to the car) to consumption (printed information on preparation), everything was highly professional and, above all, one thing: delicious! I would recommend everyone to order a goose from the Bobbeschänkelche for their own four walls.
We liked it very much.
Super lekeres Essen
A nice, rustic locality with a pretty beer garden in the back yard of the busy Röderstraße. It is best to walk to the restaurant, as parking spaces are in short supply from 4:30 p.m. on this street and in all the surrounding areas. Inside and outside it is quite narrow. The dishes taste good and are also very rich. The service is nice. Unfortunately we were placed as a “large” group, ie 4 adults and 3 children, including 1 pram, right at the narrowest point in the service path. M.E. we could have been seated in the back, especially since the tables were only pushed together and it wasn't a single long table. Of course it is friendly that you made the reservation possible, but if you don't have the space, then you'd better cancel and we would have looked for another restaurant. Children's meals are available on request, no extra children's menu.
Fantastic, ancient restaurant with excellent cuisine. Always happy ?
A little time travel in terms of furnishings and menu.
Super cozy in the garden and then a delicious meal with good wine; what more do you want!
A very nice restaurant with good home cooking. The restaurant is in a wonderful old building. The associated beer garden is hidden in the back yard. The owners are very friendly and you feel in good hands. The goose offered at Christmas is particularly worth mentioning. You should make an early reservation here, as places are in demand and are therefore quickly booked up.
One of my favorite restaurants. Good home cooking, with fresh ingredients. No finished product. Fried potatoes should always be preferred over french fries, as they are the best I know. And please don't forget the delicious gravy. Suitable for every schnitzel and roast beef. Absolute recommendation from me.
Perfect! Original, tradition and freshness!
The professionalism of the staff is really impressive. The inn is really tastefully furnished. No cheap decoration, but there was a lot of color really nicely adapted to each other. All dishes are nicely arranged and are always brought warm. I can only recommend this place!
Very tasty German dishes and very good service.
Great food, very tasty wine
Very tasty food and friendly quick staff. The restaurant is set up in a clock and is a good size. Attention: reserve without reservation! Price in the upper level: main dishes are around 20 euros, the wine per bottle starts from 32 euros (everything is open up there). However, since the quality of the food and drinks are wonderful, the price is justified.
Amazing food! My friends and I were blown away by how tasty all the meals were. I highly recommend the potato soup in particular. Very cozy atmosphere and great service too.
The chairs are extremely comfortable and I find the distance between the tables extremely adequate. There you don't get the feeling of eating cucumbers in a can in the evening. The staff worked quickly, cleanly and nicely. The place really has potential to become my next favorite place. Most of the taste there is a real treat. The portions are an appealing and filling league.
We went there to eat goose, the location is very nice and has been a tradition since 1812. The service was excellent, very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent except for the goose itself. The goose was unfortunately very dry. But: The dessert was fantastic. The creme brulee was the best I've ever eaten - and I've already enjoyed a lot of it in many countries and restaurants.
Best goose in town!! Great food, great atmosphere, and nice waiters. I can only recommend this restaurant.
Very nice location to sit outside ( and inside) the restaurant and enjoy a professional chef preparing traditional meals. The owner of the restaurant is the head in the kitchen, while his wife is taking care of the guests with her lovely service. We tototally recommend this place for good tradional dishes. + very good wine menue
A German meal doesn't get any better than this...nor does the service, setting and ambiance. I had the house salad, schnitzel w/ pepper gravy and pan fried potatoes - all made to perfection! Open Tues-Sat. Be sure to make a reservation.
